Aazadi ka Amrut Mahotsav

💐🎉 आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव🎉💐। Team UBA and Team NSS @GECV, Visited two villages BHAGOD and CHINCHWADA of Valsad taluka, for making people aware about single use palstic. 👉We collected the single used plastic waste to inspire villagers about it and to motivate them teams explained about harmfulness of such debris in the surrounding. 👉 Also carried out cleanliness activity nearby the water sources. Both anganwadi BHAGOD and NAVINAGARI were visited and explained them about livelihood program and discussed the need and possibilities for skill development among the villagers. 👉 Dr. B. R. Sudani, Prof. J. R. Joshi, Prof. D. C. Parmar and Prof. P. J. Patel along with students' team remained present and motivated students and villagers about village beautification. 28-10-2021🙏🙏

Know Your Rivers = Nadi Ko Jano

Dear Sir/Madam,

Greetings from AICTE..!!

Research For Resurgence Foundation (RFRF) is organising a nationwide campaign titled ‘Nadi ko Jano’ for crowdsourcing of real-time data on rivers. The campaign was launched by the Honourable Minister for Education Shri. Dharmendra Pradhan on the occasion of Vyasa Pooja (25th July 2021). Water is the most important treasure for the whole of mankind. Hence this campaign of mapping the rivers will be a great boon to the national policymakers. RFRF urges all Educational Institutes to encourage their faculty and students to participate in this momentous campaign. It will motivate them to develop a harmonious attitude towards research.

The minimum qualification to compete for institutional award is 250 river entries from a single organization.
• Jal Sanrakshak - ₹ 1,00,000/- (Rupees Hundred Thousand only)
• Jal Upasak - ₹ 51,000/- (Rupees Fifty-One Thousand only)
• Jal Sathi - ₹ 31,000/- (Rupees Thirty-One Thousand only)

The minimum qualification to compete for Individual award (will be given in each state with minimum 100 river entries One in each state):
• Jal Bal Mitra: Below 18 years - ₹ 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only)
• Jal Yuva Mitra: 18 to 25 years - ₹ 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only)
• Jal Mitra: Above 25 years - ₹ 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only)

All participants submitting valid entries will be issued a Certificate of Participation.
