Inspiring Young Minds to Think, Create and Innovate

I had the wonderful opportunity to conduct expert sessions on INSPIRE Awards–MANAK and Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshani (BVP) during a two-day District Level Training Programme organized in Valsad District.

The sessions were conducted on 1st and 2nd September 2026 at the District Science Center, Dharampur, where I interacted with participants and shared practical insights on innovation, creativity, problem-solving and scientific thinking.

💡 From Problems to Powerful Ideas

The central message of my sessions was simple:

Every innovation begins with observing a problem.

Students should be encouraged to:

🔹 Observe problems around them

🔹 Ask meaningful questions

🔹 Think differently

🔹 Develop practical solutions

🔹 Create simple prototypes

🔹 Test and improve their ideas

The innovation journey can be summarized as:

Observe → Identify a Problem → Think → Create → Test → Improve

🔬 Innovation is Not About Expensive Technology

A powerful innovation does not always require expensive equipment or complicated technology.

Sometimes, a simple solution to a common daily-life problem can create a meaningful impact on society.

Through programmes such as INSPIRE Awards–MANAK and Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshani, young students get valuable opportunities to develop their creativity, scientific temperament and confidence.

👩‍🏫 The Important Role of Teachers

Teachers play a vital role in creating future innovators.

Instead of giving students all the answers, we should encourage them to ask questions, experiment, make mistakes and discover better solutions.

A single curious question can become the beginning of a great innovation.

🌟 Let Us Build a Generation of Problem Solvers

India needs young people who can not only learn from books but also use their knowledge to solve real-life challenges.

Innovation begins when a young mind says:
