Each student will prepare a word and a ppt file for the same topic individually, and submit on or before the date [Chem-1---12-10-2015], [Chem-2---13-10-2015], [Mech-1---14-10-2015], [Mech-2---15-10-2015].
The name of the word file should be like branch_div_rollno.docs  e.g. CHem_1_45.docs

For Word file Size A4, font Times new roman: Title 14 Bold, Subtitle 13 normal, matters should be in 12 normal, All paragraphs should be justified, images should be sent as jpeg/png format sepratly with the mail, reactions and structures should be drawn in the ACD/ChemSketch software.Freeware link

Those who are having "NPTEL video'' with their topic in the list, will also collect/download environment related 2-3 videos from NPTLE video library at college and share with peers.

  10. Write a note on food chain in ecosystem. Explain types of food chain.
  11. Describe in detail the following  ecosystem:(a) Forest eco system  ,(b) marine eco system.
  12. Differentiate between renewable and non renewable recourses. With examples and merits-demerits.

  9. Explain the green house effect with the help of schematic diagram and compare the effect of different green house gases in global warming.
  10. What is ‘Acid Rain’? Write a brief note on effects of acid rain on the environment.
  11. Explain depletion of ozone layer.
  12. Explain the objectives and define important terms used in the “Environmental Protection Act, 1986”.
  13. List objectives and functions (state and central)of Air (Prevention and control of pollution Acts1981).
